Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library
Purpose
The Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to foster closer relations between the library and the community by providing financial support to the library. The Friends also serve as a means to desseminate information; encourage the library's use as a center for educational, cultural and civic life; and assist in improving and expanding library facilities, resources and services.
When you join the Friends of the Jacksonville Public Library, you will receive your choice of either a coffe mug, tote bag or flash drive with the Jacksonville Public Library name and logo. To join the Friends, pick up an application at the Jacksonville Public Library at 201 W. College Ave.

Book Sales and Silent Book Auctions are held periodically throughout the year at the Jacksonville Public Library.
